Phnom Pram Pi In Battambang Province Listed As Natural Heritage Site

The Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) has decided to list Phnom Pram Pi (Seven Mountains) in Battambang northwestern province as a nature heritage site.

According to a sub-decree signed by Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen on May 25 and released to the media this morning, Phnom Pram Pi is located on a total land area of 353.9 hectares in Bour commune, Phnom Preuk district.

The establishment of this new natural site is aimed to ensure environmental protection, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable use of natural resources, it underlined.

Phnom Pram Pi Natural Site will be under the management of the Ministry of Environment in collaboration with the relevant ministries and institutions, Battambang provincial administration, and the armed forces, added the same source.
