Cambodia’s Foreign Policy Looks at All Nations for Win-Win Cooperation

Cambodia has diplomatic relations with almost all countries and its foreign policy is to work together for mutual benefits and win-win cooperation, Prime Minister Hun Sen said.

Mr Hun Sen said that every country has its foreign policy and likewise Cambodia has its own too.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony for the Bakheng Water Treatment Plant and the inauguration ceremony of Chamkar Mon Water Treatment plant in Phnom Penh on Monday, he said Cambodia has a wide outlook and not just one direction.

“Cambodia’s foreign policy is looking all around us. Cambodia doesn’t look in one direction, therefore do not look at Cambodia as being only close to China, Cambodia can work with all. Cambodia looks at all corners in our foreign policy,” he added.

Mr Hun Sen also linked the foreign policy to getting vaccines against the COVID-19 virus, saying that Cambodia can accept all safe vaccines from all: China, India, the US, the UK and the European Union as the Kingdom is committed to finding 20 million doses of vaccines for 10 million people.
