APSARA National Authority restores the southeast tower of the Lolei temple
Archaeologists from the APSARA National Authority are working to restore the southeastern structure of the Lolei temple, which has collapsed for hundreds of years due to age, natural factors, and lack of maintenance.
The restoration project, which began in mid-2021, was not to restore the entire structure but also to prevent further damage. The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2021.
