CDC Approves Two Investment Projects In Early January
The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has issued investment certificates to two companies to invest in the production of clothes and cool boxes.
The two new projects, which belong to Jian Yuan Tong Garment Co., Ltd. and Polymer Plastic Products (Cambodia) Co., Ltd., are expected to create some 565 jobs for the locals, pointed out the CDC in an announcement issued yesterday.
With a total investment capital of US$6.3 million, the projects will be located in Phnom Penh capital and Kandal province, it added.
Such investment amid the COVID-19 outbreak demonstrates confidence of investors in Cambodia’s macroeconomic, political and social stability though threatened by the pandemic.
