The crowd of tourists to witness equinox sunrise at Angkor Wat
On the morning of 21 March 2022, a natural phenomenon of the solar system called “equinox”, the simple meaning is that the duration of day and night time is balanced and the sun rises directly over the peak of Angkor Wat.
Although the sun has not yet risen on the peak of the middle tower of Angkor Wat and the weather is not favorable, this spectacular view has attracted lots of tourists to capture this rare image of this special event.
Noted that the equinox sunrise at Angkor Wat temple occurs twice a year, on 21 March and the second time on 22 September.
