APSARA National Authority to restore the carvings at Phnom Krom temple
APSARA National Authority’s technicians are restoring the carvings at Phnom Krom temple, which are damaged due to the erosion of the stones, especially during the rainy season.
The restoration work started in early December 2021, focused on strengthening some of the remaining carvings along the temple walls to prevent further damage and by using a special type of glue sprayed into the decayed stones to consolidate strength. The project will take at least three months and is scheduled to be completed by the end of February 2022.
