President of Daehan Group Cambodia, Lee Jae Hoo told Sun Chanthol, Minister of Public Works and Transport that his company plans to import and operate electric vehicle charging stations that can be charged at the station and can be used for travel for about 100 kilometers, which can reduce environmental impacts.

He said that it will cost between $ 1,000 and $ 1,500 and request the recommendation and support of the Minister of Public Works and Transport prior to the project’s official import and launch.

Public Works and Transport Minister expressed his welcome and support for the project and requested that the company focus on the use of this facility in Siem Reap to facilitate the travel of tourists in the Angkor Wat area and to assist, reduce environmental pollution as well.

The Minister also encouraged the company to study the project clearly before importing it, in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Works and Transport and the Council for the Development of Cambodia. Khmer Times
