Covid-19: 1 recovered and 9 people positive as imported cases
Another 1 COVID-19 patients were cured but 9 new cases imported, the Ministry of Health said on Saturday. This brings the total number of recoveries to 129, with a further 10 for recovery out of 139 in total.
The recovered 66-year-old Cambodian-American man, who lives in the United States, has an address in Cambodia and arrived in Cambodia on June 23, 2020.
The nine new cases are:
- One 24-year-old Cambodian woman
- One 23-year-old Cambodian man
- One 24-year-old Cambodian man
- Two 25-year-old Cambodian men
- A 26-year-old Cambodian man
- A 22-year-old Indonesian man
They are passengers from Indonesia on a direct flight and arrived in Cambodia on June 25, 2020. All nine of them are now admitted to the Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital.
A total of 40 passengers were on the flight and 31 others received negative test results and were sent to the quarantined facility for 14 days:
- Fifteen Cambodian passengers were booked at the Air Force Base Station to wait for 14 days to be resettled in their respective provinces.
- Residents of Phnom Penh are being treated at Chak Angre Health Center.
- A total of 16 Indonesian and Vietnamese travelers chose to pay for a stay at a hotel in Phnom Penh to monitor their health.
