Health official dismisses allegation of “paid vaccinations” against Covid-19
A senior health official has dismissed a report that vaccination against Covid-19 was paid.
Speaking to reporters while visiting vaccination centres in Boeng Keng Kang and Sen Sok districts on Tuesday, Or Vandine, Health Ministry spokeswoman and chairwoman of vaccination committee said,” People get jabs free of charge and Prime Minister Hun Sen has always paid attention to monitoring the vaccinations. We have to believe in his wise leadership.”
She said the ad-hoc vaccination committee strictly oversaw the vaccination process. and that it is free of charge.
She said that if there was such a report, her committee would launch a probe.
Vandine added that doctors are working hard so that the vaccination process has gone smoothly.
As of Tuesday, 2,133,116 people were inoculated, according to the report. Khmer Times
