National Bank of Cambodia announces auction for another $200 million
The National Bank of Cambodia has issued a notice to banks, microfinance institutions and money changers to participate in the bidding for US $200,000,000 in October
The bidding will be done in stages, with the exact date and amount of the bidding to be announced later.
According to the National Bank of Cambodia, the dollar auction was to keep the riel and the dollar stable on the market.
The National Bank of Cambodia reserves the right to adjust the total amount to be auctioned according to the actual market conditions. Khmer Times
