Cambodia to receive 9 million more doses of vaccine to be used as booster dose
Prime Minister Hun Sen said this morning that Cambodia will receive an additional nine million doses of Sinovac vaccines.
Speaking at the launch of the campaign to vaccinate children aged six to 12 to protect them against COVID-19, the premier said that the first batch of three million doses will arrive on September 24, the second batch on September 26 or 27 and the final batch, a contribution by the Chinese as affirmed by State Councillor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi last week, will arrive at a later date.
Mr Hun Sen added that two million doses of PfizerBiontech vaccines, to be provided by Australia does not have a firm delivery date.
He added that Cambodia current has 4,200,700 doses of vaccines in warehouses, to be used in the third phase, as well as further phases. Khmer Times
