The northern pond is part of the architectural structures of Angkor Wat. The pond is highly attractive to tourists as they could get a reflection photo of the Angkor Wat towers on the water. Currently, the team of APSARA National Authority is strengthening the structure of the stairs, and the work will be completed in the next two years.

To date, the team is in the third phase and has completed 100 meters out of a total length of 250 meters.
