Cambodia reports 181 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) including 178 locally-transmitted cases, 2 imported cases, and 1 case of Cambodian worker from Thailand, announced the Ministry of Health in a press release this morning.

At the same time, 40 COVID-19 patients have been successfully recovered and discharged after being tested negative twice consecutively, but​ they are still required to do quarantine of 14 days.

The tally now increases to 4,696, of which 4,160 cases are connected to the Feb. 20 Community Event, a COVID-19 cluster infection incident in Cambodia. The total recovered patients stood at 2,252 with 33 fatal cases.
