CDC approves a $2.1 million investment proposal in Takhmao town
A $2.1 million garment factory will be built in Takhmao town, Kandal province, creating 2,611 jobs for local people, according to a press release of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC).
The garment factory project, approved recently by the CDC, is invested by Jiangyao (Cambodia) Garments Co., Ltd., it pointed out.
Such investment amid the COVID-19 outbreak demonstrates confidence of investors in Cambodia’s macroeconomic, political and social stability though threatened by the pandemic. C. Nika – AKP
