Sports specialised television channel expected to start broadcast by end 2020
Cambodia will soon have dedicated sports specialised television channel (CSTV-Cambodia Sports Television) piloted online late this year.
The news was unveiled by Vat Chamroeun, Tourism Secretary of State and Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC) recently.
Vat Chamroeun continued that for the upcoming 32nd SEA Games 2023 hosted by Cambodia, the country will need such specialised television channel, adding that CSTV is under the supervision of NOCC.
The television channel will have its broadcasting centre to be ready for big national and international sports events, especially SEA Games 2023.
With the existence of the sports television channel, NOCC is training necessary human resources to bring high-quality broadcast. Lim Nary/AKP
