PM Hun Sen calls on Cambodians to use Khmer Scarf “Krama” instead of facemasks
Prime Minister Hun Sen called on Cambodians to use Khmer Scarf “Krama” instead of facemasks to prevent Covid-19 amid facemask’s price surges.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of National Road No. 55, connecting Pursat province in the west to Cambodia-Thailand border, PM said: “Let’s use [Krama] to prevent Covid-19 instead of facemask as a contribution to promoting national identity and creating jobs for the Cambodian people,”.
PM Hun Sen added Krama is reusable and can be washed daily to eliminate the virus, whereas facemasks must be changed and thrown away in a few hours.
