On the evening of February 10, 2025, Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, received a delegation of alumni from the West Point Military Academy in the Philippines, led by Mr. Cris Acosta, a graduate of the Class of 1982, for a courtesy call during his official visit to Manila, Philippines, from February 10 to 11, 2025.
During the meeting, Mr. Cris Acosta, representing the West Point Alumni Association, expressed his sincere gratitude to Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei for the opportunity to pay a courtesy visit and extend best wishes for the success of his trip. He and his fellow alumni also shared experiences and fond memories from their time at West Point. Additionally, Mr. Acosta informed Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei that he and a group of other West Point alumni plan to visit Cambodia in the near future.
In response, Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei expressed his pleasure in meeting Mr. Cris Acosta and the alumni delegation. He shared his own experiences and memories from his time at West Point and welcomed the group’s intention to visit Cambodia. Furthermore, he encouraged Mr. Acosta and his fellow alumni to strengthen ties with Cambodia’s West Point alumni, as well as with alumni from other Southeast Asian countries.
