Cambodia Reaffirms Its Stance against Invasion
Prime Minister Hun Sen has reaffirmed Cambodia’s firm stance to oppose any invasion from a nation against another.
“We do not support secession, we oppose the use of forces or the threat of using forces,” he said while presiding over the inauguration ceremony of National Road No. 21 in Kandal province this morning.
“Cambodia is a small nation, if there is an invasion against us in the future, who will help us if we support this [invasion] act,” he added.
Supporting an invasion of a nation against another will create a bad habit for the world, i.e. strong countries invade the weak ones, the Cambodian Premier said.
“We have appealed for a ceasefire and supported negotiations for peace,” underlined PM Hun Sen. AKP
