Cambodia, Morocco to strengthen diplomatic and trade ties
In a recent talk between Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prak Sokhonn, and Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Bourita, the two FMs have expressed the desire to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two nations.
According to a press release from the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two foreign ministers held a video conference on January 25.
The two ministers agreed to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the various sectors, such as the textile and tourism sector. The two foreign ministers stressed the importance of sharing expertise, the press release stated.
As a means of strengthening bilateral relations, DPM Sokhonn and Minister Bourita agreed to organize and participate in the upcoming third session of political consultation and joint commission to advance trade cooperation along with diplomatic relations, the statement continued.
The two foreign ministers ended their meeting with the signing of a visa exemption agreement for service and diplomatic passport holders. Khmer Times
