More Than 9.7M People Vaccinated in Cambodia
A total of 9,717,258 people in Cambodia have been vaccinated against the COVID-19 pandemic, of whom 7,874,938 have already got their second doses of Covid-19 vaccines, as of August 23.
The figures were shared by the National Ad-hoc Commission for COVID-19 Vaccination, adding that the vaccine coverage has reached 87.26 percent of the planned 10 million people to be inoculated, or 60.73 percent of the total population of 16 million people.
At the same time, 50.39 percent of the planned 1,966,931 minors aged 12 to 17 have been vaccinated.
Members of the diplomatic corps, staff of UN agencies and international organisations and their family members, and foreign residents were among the vaccinated people.
