APSARA National Authority is currently undertaking rehabilitation of the road in Angkor site from the Elephant Terrace to Banteay Kdei temple, devided into 3 sections, with a total length of 6,368 meters.

The first section from the front of the elephant terrace to the bridge of Takeo temple is 2122 meters long. Second, from the bridge of Takeo temple to the west of Ta Prohm temple, 2123 meters long. Third, from the west of Ta Prohm temple to the front of Banteay Kdei temple, it is 2123 meters long.

This project also includes widening both sidewalks of the road, total width of 6 meters, by concrete (AC) to facilitate the travel of people and tourists.
