Curfew hours in Phnom Penh and Takhmao City to be revised to 8pm and 3am
The curfew is however not applicable for those in the emergency services sector and essential services such as food production, travel of civil servants and armed forces, transportation of good and groceries, public and private health facilities etc.
The original curfew hours were enforced on April, followed by a lockdown of the two cities, enforced at midnight on 14 April.
This was followed by colour designation of Covid-19 infection areas on April 19 into Red, Orange and Yellow Zones, with Yellow being an open zone while Red had complete lockdown in place.
The original areas identified as “Red Zones” were Sangkat Stueng Meanchey 1, Stueng Meanchey 2, Stueng Meanchey 3, Sangkat Chaom Chau Villages 14, 16, and 17 in Sangkat Boeng Salang. Khmer Times
