Singaporean Ambassador to Cambodia Pays Courtesy Call on PM Hun Sen
The newly-appointed Singaporean Ambassador to Cambodia Teo Lay Cheng paid a courtesy call on Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen on Tuesday morning at the Peace Palace, Phnom Penh.
Ambassador Teo Lay Cheng highly commended the premier for leading Cambodia to rapid development. She pledged to expand and strengthen Cambodia-Singapore cooperation.
In response, the premier congratulated Ambassador Teo Lay Cheng for being appointed as Singaporean Ambassador to Cambodia.
“We should overcome any obstacles to strengthen Cambodia-Singapore ties through implementing agreements and Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that have been signed by the two countries, and seeking other potential cooperation,” the premier underlined.
