Cambodia Reports 36 New Cases of Covid-19 and 58 Recoveries
Cambodia reports 36 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19); the tally increases to 1541, of which 1025 are related to the Feb. 20 Community Event, the current cluster infections in Cambodia.
According to a press release of the Ministry of Health issued this morning, the 36 new cases include 1 imported case and 35 locally-transmitted cases, including 1 Filipino, 23 Cambodians, 9 Vietnamese, 2 Chinese, and 1 American. They are found in Phnom Penh capital and Kandal province.
At the same time, 58 COVID-19 patients have been successfully recovered and allowed to be discharged after being tested negative twice consecutively.
The total recovered cases in the Kingdom, therefore, rose to 898 with 1 fatal case.
