Cambodia Reports 49 New Cases of COVID19; 21 Recovered
Cambodia reported 49 new cases of COVID19, while 21 patients recovered on Tuesday, according to the Ministry of Health’s press release dated 9 March 2021 (updated as of 1:00 p.m).
The newly infected patient is a 50-year-old Libyan man returning from Libya through South Korea’s flight to Cambodia on 7 March 2021, with a total of 97 passengers.
The other 48 are patients involved in February 20 community event. They are Cambodian, Chinese and Indonesian nationals from Sihanoukville, Kandal, Prey Veng and Phnom Penh aged between 15 and 47 years old.
To date, Cambodia has confirmed 1060 cases of COVID19 with 538 recoveries and no death.
