Delayed 38-Road Construction Project In Siem Reap To Break Ground Later This Month
Ministry of Public Works and Transport has announced that the groundbreaking ceremony of the 38 roads in Siem Reap province, which has been delayed recently, will take place on Nov. 30.
The upcoming event will be presided over by Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, said H.E. Sun Chanthol, Senior Minister and Minister of Public Works and Transport during his inspection visit of the construction project in Siem Reap provincial city on Nov.15.
Previously, the groundbreaking ceremony was set to be held in mid-November, but was delayed due to the Nov. 3 Incident.
The construction of the 38 roads, approved by Samdech Techo Prime Minister on Sept. 4, would cost some US$150 million.
