The Ministry of Health announced that it has found 1 new case of Covid-19.
On the morning of Friday, October 2, 2020, the Ministry of Health issued a press release confirming one new case of the Covid-19.
One of the new Covid-19 test positives was a 33-year-old Cambodian woman, residing in Kdol village, Kdol Daun Teav commune, Battambang city, Battambang province, who was traveling from the United States by changing flights at China (Taiwan). She arrived in Cambodia on September 16, 2020.
She is currently being treated at the Battambang Provincial Referral Hospital.
Please be informed that as of 07:00 on Friday, October 2, 2020, Cambodia has found a total of 278 cases of Covid-19 (55 women and 223 men), of which the total number of patients treated throughout the country. There were 275 cases (54 females and 221 males) were treated and the number of people hospitalized increased to 3.
