The Ministry of Health announced that 4 more Covid-19 patients were cured and no new cases were reported today. The Ministry of Health announced that 4 more Covid-19 patients were cured and no new cases were reported today.

On the morning of August 22, 2020, four more Covid-19 patients were recovered, the Ministry of Health said, while there are no new cases.

According to the Ministry of Health, the four patients include:

  • A 51-year-old Cambodian woman, located in Kasem Village, Tapoung Commune, Thmor Kol District, Battambang Province, was traveling from the United States via South Korea and arrived in Cambodia on July 31, 2020.
  • A 25-year-old Cambodian man from Prey Changha Keut village, Banteay Neang commune, Mongkul Borei district, Banteay Meanchey province, was traveling from Russia via Malaysia and arrived in Cambodia on July 19, 2020.
  • A 30-year-old Cambodian man with an address in Siem Reap City, Siem Reap Province, who traveled from Russia via Malaysia and arrived in Cambodia on July 19, 2020.
  • A 26-year-old Cambodian man with an address in Khan Sen Sok, Phnom Penh, who came from Russia via Malaysia and arrived in Cambodia on July 19, 2020.

According to the Ministry of Health, as of this morning, August 22, 2020, Cambodia has found a total of 273 cases of Covid-19 (54 women and 219 men). There were 263 recovered and the number of patients was reduced to 10.
