Prime Minister reiterates, strenuously for social distancing to be continued

Prime Minister Hun Sen advised the public yet again to stay away from crowded places to prevent the spreading of COVID-19 infection after two new cases have been reported in the Kingdom.

In his post via his official Facebook page he said, the Kingdom had recently cleared 122 COVID-19 patients since last weekend. Unfortunately, two new cases have been reported consecutively for two days in a row, bringing the total number of COVID-19 patients to 124.

While the medical doctors are working to fight the virus, Mr Hun Sen has reminded the public to continue practicing good hygiene like wearing a mask or scarf and washing hands thoroughly.

“People need to have a high awareness of this devastating disease. You have to maintain good hygiene habits such as wearing a mask or scarf and washing your hands regularly with soap, water, alcohol and disinfectants to get rid of the bacteria,” said Mr Hun Sen.

“Please do not go to unnecessary places especially where there are large groups or gatherings of people. Please heed the advice given by the Ministry of Health,” he added.
