J Trust Royal Bank helps needy families tackle Covid-19 in Phnom Penh

J Trust Royal Bank carried out a two-day healthcare campaign to assist needy families in Phnom Penh to cope with the COVID-19 situation.

The bank’s executives visited districts in the city and met with local authorities from Trapaing Kraisang, Chrang Chomraes, Svay Pak and Stung Meanchey.

During the outreach, which took place between April 9-10, free healthcare supplies to protect against COVID-19 such as face masks, disinfectant alcohol and antibacterial handsoap were donated to local residents.

Each district received 10,000 face masks, five large cartons of antibacterial soap, 150 liters sanitizing alcohol and 300 units 500 ml spray bottles.

The bank sought district officials’ support to ensure that marginalized families in their districts received the supplies needed to help them protect from COVID-19.

The efforts were part of J Trust Royal Bank’s corporate social responsibility initiative to reach out to communities during a crisis. Phnom Penh Post
