UNWTO’s Appreciation for Cambodia’s Bravery

The security general of the UNWTO (United Nation World Tourism), Mr. Zorab Pololikashvili, has issued a Letter of Appreciation to Cambodia for its remarkable humanitarian response to the plight of MS Westerdam cruise ship which it welcomed with open arms and allowed to dock in Sihaknuk Ville despite the coronavirus fears.
In this letter, the organization has expressed its thankful and very proud of Cambodia’s demonstration of such highly acclaimed international solidarity which will hopefully encourage other nations to emulate and to offer the much needed support where and when required.
MS Westerdam cruise ship was allowed to dock in Sihanouk Ville, southwest of Phnom Penh, on 13th February. Prime Minister Hun Sen was there to welcome them on 14th February.
