Cambodia and Thailand Hold Preparatory Talks Ahead of Regional Border Committee Meetings
On August 25, 2025, at 3:47 PM, a working discussion was convened at the Chaom-SaNgam International Border Checkpoint between the Secretariat Teams of the Cambodia-Thailand Regional Border Committee (RBC).
The Cambodian delegation was led by Brigadier General Nit Narong, Head of the Secretariat Team of Military Region 4, while the Thai delegation was led by Colonel Yuthasat Senthachai, Deputy Commander of Military Region 2.
During the meeting, both sides discussed the exchange of minutes and jointly inspected the preparations for the upcoming Secretariat-level meetings of the Cambodia-Thailand Regional Border Committee between Military Region 4 of Cambodia and Military Region 2 of Thailand, scheduled for August 26, 2025. They also reviewed arrangements for the full RBC meeting, which will take place on August 27, 2025.
