Cambodian PM: Entire Nation Stands Firmly with Frontline Troops

Phnom Penh, July 19, 2025 –Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet has reaffirmed the Royal Government’s and the whole Khmer nation’s strong support to the frontline troops.

In a message via his social media network this evening, Samdech Thipadei expressed sincere thanks to his compatriots for coming together again, following the Solidarity March on June 18, 2025. This is a powerful message of encouragement to the Cambodian armed forces on the front lines who stand firm, vigilant, and courageous in defending the nation’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, without yielding even a millimeter, he underlined.

“On behalf of the Royal Government, I affirm that Cambodia is committed to seeking a peaceful resolution through 1) technical mechanism (JBC) and 2) international law including International Court of Justice (ICJ) mechanism,” he reiterated. “Furthermore, Cambodia stands ready to respond with its armed forces in the event of any deliberate violation of Cambodian sovereignty through the use of force.”

The Premier also wished the armed forces on the front lines, including those in defensive and support lines, who have demonstrated respect for and unwavering commitment to the orders issued by the Commander-in-Chief and commanders at all levels.

“To our armed forces on the front lines, please remember that the Royal Government and the entire Khmer nation stand firmly with you and will continue to support under all circumstances,” he concluded. By C. Nika
