US Pacific commander to visit Cambodia next week

General Ronald P. CLARK, Commander of the United States Army Pacific (USARPAC), will pay an official visit to the Kingdom of Cambodia from February 24 to 25, 2025.

During the visit, General Ronald Clark will pay a courtesy call on His Excellency Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, General Tea Seiha, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense, and General Vong Pisen, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces.

General Ronald Clark will have a bilateral meeting with General Mao Sophan at the Royal Cambodian Army Headquarters, where the two commanders will hold in-depth discussions aimed at strengthening and expanding military cooperation, building trust and confidence in the defense sector between the two countries.

General Ronald Clark’s visit coincides with the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Cambodia and the United States, and is the second time that the commander of the United States Pacific Army has visited Cambodia, the first being led by General Vincent Brooks in 2014.
