Cinema, art performance venues, and museums are set to reopen due to a better Covid-19 situation in the capital after eight months of closure.

Bok Porak, Cinema Department Director at the ministry of culture and fine arts, told Khmer Time today that according to the announcement, cinema, art performance venues, and museums were not included in the Covid-19 restrictions which are extended for another two weeks.

He said that there will be some changes to the old standard operating procedure to adapt to a new situation.

After an official announcement by the ministry, all the art performance venues will be allowed to reopen by complying with the new SOP.

“We want all related businesses to follow the SOP strictly to ensure the place is safe and not to become the source of spreading the deadly virus,” said Porak.
