Japan to donate 1M doses of AstraZeneca vaccine to Cambodia
According to the Embassy of Japan in Cambodia, Japan has decided to donate 1 million doses of its AstraZeneca vaccine to Cambodia, which will be delivered upon the logistic completion of the Covax Facility.
In the letter, the Embassy of Japan also stated that so far, Japan has provided more than $50 million in assistance to the Royal Government of Cambodia to fight Covid-19 and has provided about $227 million in loans to use in a cash support scheme for Cambodians who are affected by Covid-19.
