Cambodia Holds Diplomatic Briefing on Border and Landmine Issues
Phnom Penh: On the morning of September 25, 2025, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia held a briefing on the latest developments concerning the Cambodia–Thailand border situation, including the issue of landmines. The session was presented to foreign diplomatic missions and representatives of United Nations agencies accredited to Cambodia at the Ministry’s headquarters.
The meeting was attended by representatives from 30 embassies based in Cambodia, as well as diplomatic missions abroad responsible for Cambodia–Thailand border affairs, and six international organizations. Among the participants was also a representative from the Thai Embassy. The meeting was chaired by H.E. EAT Sophea, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
