Phnom Penh, 7 September 2025 — Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet has extended his warmest congratulations to H.E. Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul on his election as the 32nd Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, expressing confidence that under his leadership, Thailand will achieve greater progress.

In a congratulatory letter sent to the Thai leader, Hun Manet described Anutin’s victory as a reflection of strong confidence in his leadership and emphasized the importance of fostering peace, harmonious coexistence, and shared prosperity between the two neighboring nations.

“Both Cambodia and Thailand are immediate neighbors by geography and fellow members of ASEAN. Peace, harmonious coexistence and shared prosperity between our two countries are the aspirations of our peoples,” Hun Manet stated, adding his hope that closer cooperation would allow both nations to “enjoy prosperity and thrive in harmony and joy.”

The Cambodian premier further highlighted his commitment to working closely with the new Thai government to restore bilateral relations to normalcy, rebuild mutual trust, and transform the shared border into “one of peace, cooperation, development, and shared prosperity.”

Hun Manet concluded by extending his best wishes for Anutin Charnvirakul’s success in his leadership and future endeavors.
