The Thai army is expected to launch renewed attacks on Cambodia, possibly on the night of 13 August and the morning of 14 August 2025, according to multiple reliable sources.

Based on information from these sources, at 10:00 a.m. on 13 August, Thai authorities closed schools and sent students home to prepare for the evacuation of residents from Dan Village, Dan Commune, Kap Choeng District, Surin Province, to safer areas.

Sources also reported that the Thai army plans to mobilise military forces and heavy weaponry, including multiple armoured vehicles, to Cambodian-Thai border areas as part of a renewed act of aggression against Cambodia’s sovereign territory.

“These activities clearly show that the Thai side has repeatedly violated the ceasefire agreement reached during the special meeting on 28 July 2025, as well as the terms and conditions agreed upon during the Extraordinary General Border Committee (GBC) meeting on 7 August 2025 in Malaysia,” the sources said.
