Commerce Minister Highlights Key Role of National Commercial Arbitration Centre
The National Commercial Arbitration Centre (NCAC) is playing a key role in promoting Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanisms, particularly in commerce sector, which would contribute significantly to attracting investment and fostering investor confidence.
H.E. Mrs. CHAM Nimul, Minister of Commerce, acknowledged the NCAC’s important role, when she received a courtesy call by the 5th Mandate Executive Board of the NCAC, led by Arbitrator HIB Nareth West, President of the Executive Board and President of NCAC, at the ministry on June 10.
During the meeting, Arbitrator HIB Nareth West introduced to H.E. Minister the members of the 5th Mandate Executive Board of NCAC and briefed her on the work progress NCAC has achieved and the work directions.
Praising the importance of NCAC, H.E. Mrs. CHAM Nimul emphasised the Ministry of Commerce’s ongoing initiatives that will leverage the cooperation between the two institutions to achieve further outcomes.
