Queen-Mother Donates US$10,000 to Support Armed Forces Along the Border
Her Majesty Queen-Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk has donated US$10,000 to support the armed forces stationed along Cambodia’s border.
The donation was publicly announced this morning by Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate and Chair of the National Assembly-Senate Congress, during the Congress’s second day of meetings at the National Assembly Palace.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed profound gratitude to Her Majesty for her generous contribution in support of the nation’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Citizens from across the country have also contributed both monetary and material donations, joining efforts to safeguard the motherland from any external threats.
In his address to the Congress yesterday, Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet affirmed that while the Royal Government possesses sufficient capacity to support the armed forces, contributions from the public serve as a “great encouragement to our troops.”
