On the afternoon of 5 May 2025, Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, received a courtesy call from Mr. Zhu Yujiang, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Beijing Scitech Holdings Co., Ltd., at the Peace Palace.

During the meeting, Mr Zhu thanked Samdech Borvor Thipadei for the opportunity to pay a courtesy call. He commended Cambodia’s rapid development across all sectors, attributing it to the leadership of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN, President of the Senate and former Prime Minister, and Samdech Borvor Thipadei HUN Manet, the current Prime Minister. He noted that he observes positive progress each time he visits Cambodia. Mr Zhu also expressed pleasure at the deepening relations and growing cooperation between China and Cambodia. The Chairman informed Samdech Borvor Thipadei of the company’s interest in exploring investment opportunities in Cambodia, particularly in crude oil refining and producing value-added products from refining residues. He added that such investment would support Cambodia’s socio-economic development and boost its manufacturing productivity.

In response, Samdech Borvor Thipadei welcomed Mr Zhu and his delegation and appreciated their company’s interest in investing in Cambodia. He emphasised Cambodia’s continued openness to companies exploring investment opportunities. Additionally, Samdech  BorvorThipadei highlighted the Royal Government’s policies and measures aimed at encouraging supply chain investment. He noted that strengthening supply chains is a strategic priority for Cambodia, aimed at promoting the production of semi-finished and finished goods for both domestic consumption and export.

Before concluding, Samdech Borvor Thipadei encouraged the company to explore supply chain investment possibilities and to continue collaborating with relevant ministries and institutions, conducting detailed studies to seize investment opportunities in Cambodia.
