First Deputy Speaker of Hungarian NA to Visit Cambodia This Week

H.E. Ms. Marta Matrai, First Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly (NA) of Hungary, will lead a high-level delegation to pay an official and friendly visit to Cambodia this week, from Feb. 5 to 9, to deepen the cooperation between both countries’ parliaments, both in bilateral and multilateral frameworks.

According to an announcement of the General Secretariat of the Cambodian NA released this evening, during the five-day visit, H.E. Ms. Mata Matrai will pay a courtesy call on Cambodian Senate President Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen and Cambodian NA President Samdech Maha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary.

Moreover, she is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with H.E. Kittisethapundit Cheam Yeap, First Vice President of the Cambodian NA, and hold working discussions with H.E. Suos Yara, Chairman of the NA’s Committee on Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Information.

Besides, H.E. Ms. Mata Matrai planned to visit the Royal Palace, take a boat ride on the Mekong River, and visit ancient temples in Siem Reap province.
