Phnom Penh, Cambodia, November 1, 2021, The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC) at ITC’s campus in Phnom Penh. The MoU was signed by Ms Karolien Casaer-Diez, Country Representative for Cambodia and H.E. Dr Om Romny, Director General of ITC.

The two institutions are already working together on industrial energy audits, energy software customization and regular training and guest lectures on green growth related topics. The MoU paves the way for further collaboration in programmatic areas such as waste management, green industries, sustainable mobility, and green building.

With a comprehensive program offering policy and investment advice relating to green urban development in Cambodia, GGGI finds an excellent match in ITC as a national partner. ITC, a leading institution in technology and innovation, play a prime role in developing cleantech and skills in Cambodia while ITC staff and students can gain valuable experience from GGGI supported programs.
