More than 700kg of gold ore mined in Cambodia refined
Renaissance Minerals has refined over 700 kg of gold ore in three months of production process in northeastern Cambodia’s Mondulkiri province.
Speaking at the cabinet meeting held here last Friday, Hun Sen, said that, “in the three-month period, Cambodia has produced more than 700 kg of gold ore.”
Renaissance Minerals started commercial gold refinery production in June this June in O’ Kvau area, Keo Sema district, Mondulkiri province.
According to the Ministry of Mines and Energy, the company exported over 500 kg of gold ore abroad for 99.99 percent purification.
As planned, the company will be able to refine at estimated 3 tonnes of gold ore per year for the first eight years. Chea Vannak – AKP/Khmer Times
