Cambodia Reports 181 New COVID-19 Cases; 40 Recovered
Cambodia reports 181 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) including 178 locally-transmitted cases, 2 imported cases, and 1 case of Cambodian worker from Thailand, announced the Ministry of Health in a press release this morning.
At the same time, 40 COVID-19 patients have been successfully recovered and discharged after being tested negative twice consecutively, but they are still required to do quarantine of 14 days.
The tally now increases to 4,696, of which 4,160 cases are connected to the Feb. 20 Community Event, a COVID-19 cluster infection incident in Cambodia. The total recovered patients stood at 2,252 with 33 fatal cases.
