Cambodia Reports 62 New Cases of Covid-19 and 22 Recoveries
Sixty-two (62) new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) were reported; the tally increased to 1,225, of which 712 are related to the Feb. 20 Community Event, the current cluster infections in Cambodia.
According to a press release of the Ministry of Health issued this morning, 60 cases are locally-transmitted cases including 44 Cambodians, 15 Chinese, and 1 Vietnamese, and 2 others are imported cases. They are found in Phnom Penh capital and the provinces of Kandal, Kampong Thom, Prey Veng and Koh Kong.
At the same time, 22 COVID-19 patients have been successfully recovered and allowed to be discharged after being tested negative twice consecutively.
The total recovered cases in the Kingdom therefore rose to 604 with no fatal case.
