Cambodian PM Keeps Calling On The Public To Remain Vigilant Of COVID-19 Pandemic
Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has continued to appeal to his compatriots to keep their vigilance of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In his message posted on his official Facebook page this morning, Samdech Techo Hun Sen said up to now, the global confirmed cases of COVID-19 has reached 13,150,645, including 574,464 deaths, in 216 countries and territories, while there has been no drug proven to cure this disease yet.
For Cambodia, he added, there are in total 166 positive cases as of today, and 133 of them have recovered.
The Premier reiterated the most effective preventive measures against COVID-19 – often cleaning hands with soap, alcohol- or gel-based hand sanitizers and wearing facemasks.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen also instructed all businesses, including public and private markets, retail shops, malls, restaurants, coffee shops, banks, clinics, hospitals, construction sites, etc. to follow the Ministry of Health’s guidelines.
