Public Bus And Taxi Boat Services Suspended
The Phnom Penh municipal administration has decided to temporarily suspend the public City Bus and Taxi Boat services from today onwards.
The decision was made in contribution to the Royal Government of Cambodia and the Ministry of Health in preventing the spread of COVID-19 in Phnom Penh capital said the municipal administration in an announcement made public this evening.
The temporary suspension of City Bus and Taxi Boat services comes into force from Mar. 26 until the situation gets better, underlined the same source.
Cambodia has so far reported 96 confirmed COVID-19 cases including 38 Cambodians, 36 French, 12 Malaysians, 5 British, 2 Americans, one Canadian, one Belgian, and one Chinese. Of them, ten have recovered.
Since the first case detected in Preah Sihanouk province in late January, the COVID-19 pandemic has now hit 13 provinces and the capital of Cambodia.
