41 Sports Listed For 2021 National Sports Championships
The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports has listed 41 kinds of sports for this year’s national championships.
In a recent official letter signed by H.E. Hang Choun Naron, Minister of Education, Youth and Sports indicated that the ministry has also set the dates for the challenges, including golf in mid-January, wrestling and soft tennis in April, and baseball, ITF Taekwondo and Jiu Jitsu in November 2021.
According to H.E. Ouk Sethicheat, Director General of Sports, the ministry is undergoing comprehensive reform for sports in line with the master plan and the national policy.
It also delegates capacity building initiatives for athletes to national federations to get well prepared for the SEA Games 2023 hosted by Cambodia.
